Recommendations

This list is a compilation of all of the female led television shows I've seen and would recommend to other people. These are all really great shows with great protagonists and interesting plots. If you have questions about any of these shows or want to know more of what they are about. I've just put the IMDB descriptions under each of them to give you an idea of what they are about. (IMDB descriptions actually kind of suck, but they give an idea at least.)

Hope Springs

Shameless

An alcoholic man lives in a perpetual stupor while his six children with whom he lives cope as best they can.

The 100

Set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, when a spaceship housing humanity's lone survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet.

The Legent of Korra

Avatar Korra fights to keep Republic City safe from the evil forces of both the physical and spiritual worlds.

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries

A modern day retelling of Pride and Prejudice, the series is told in vlog-style by Lizzie Bennet as she narrates the trials and tribulations of her family life with the help of her best friend and aspiring filmmaker, Charlotte Lu, "practically perfect" older sister, Jane, and easily excitable younger sister, Lydia.

United States of Tara
